Richard Castle is a successful crime novel writer. However, he suffers from a lack of inspiration after killing his main character in the last published novel and is forced to find a replacement.Richard Is Bored To Death With Fame, fans and women, when approached by Detective Kate Beckett of the NYPD, because a copycat killer has emerged who is inspired by Castle’s novels. The writer helps to catch the killer, and also finds in the person of Kate his next character, so he decides to use it as an inspiration for the next novel.
