The Crossing (2018)

Refugees from a war-torn country are beginning to show up to seek asylum in an American city. The only country these people belong to is America, and the war they are fleeing is 250 years in the future. The local sheriff with a past, a federal agent and a mother looking for his missing refugee daughter lead this allegory with a surprising conspiracy in the center.
