Vanity Fair (2018)

A new adaptation of the classic novel written by William M. Thackeray, VANITY FAIR takes place during the Napoleonic Wars and focuses on Becky Sharp (Olivia Cooke), who wants to escape poverty and reach the highest peaks of British society. Her story “negative, illegal, funny, amorous, hilarious, fighting and dancing” takes her to the court of King George IV, passing through the battle of Waterloo, many broken hearts and wasted fortunes.
